A young man who went to collect yarsagumba in Nawarpani Yarsa Patan in Kaike Rural Municipality of Dolpa has died. Dhanlal Bik, a 19-year-old resident of Nalgard Municipality-8 of Jajarkot, died after falling into a lake in Nawarpani Yarsa Patan.

The deceased Bik had reached Dolpa with his father Hari Bahadur Bik to look for Yarsagumba a week ago. Police Inspector Topendra Budha of District Police Office Dolpa informed that the police carried the dead Bik's body and took it to the hospital.

Earlier, Bhim Bahadur Bohora of Jumla's Guthichour rural municipality-1, Manisanghu, died after falling into a lake in Jagdulla Patan of Dolpa. The police said that Bohora died on the way while bringing her home after hitting the lake.

Only a few days ago, one Yarsagumba collector died in Saikumari Patan under Thuliveri Municipality and one Yarsagumba collector in Sagar Yarsa Patan under She-Phoksundo Rural Municipality, but the police have not been able to confirm it.

Yarsa Patan is located in the high Himalayan region, so even the phone does not work there and the police cannot go to all places, so it is said that some of the incidents that happened during the collection of Yarsa did not reach the police.
