The cabinet meeting of Karnali state government has taken 5 decisions. Government spokesperson Vinod Kumar Shah said that 5 different decisions were taken in the meeting held on Tuesday.
The meeting has decided to provide 79.2 million 40 thousand from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning for the Provincial Disaster Management Fund.
In a press conference on Wednesday morning, Shah informed that the government has decided to provide 30 percent of the Karnali province government's cost sharing amount from the provincial disaster management fund to the relevant district administration office according to the procedures prepared for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of private housing affected by monsoon and fire disasters.
792 million 40 thousand rupees required for this will be allocated to the disaster management fund of the district administration offices through the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning.
6 districts of Karnali demanded funds. This amount will be sent to these districts. The amount will go to the disaster management fund of Kalikot, Jumla, Rukum Paschim, Salyan, Jajarkot and Mugu district administration offices.
A similar meeting has decided to send the bill to the administration and bill committee to make arrangements for records and management of non-governmental organizations working in the province.
Similarly, the Council of Ministers meeting has also decided to send Bill 2082 to the Administration and Bills Committee to make arrangements for mass communication and information technology.
Similarly, the provincial government has decided to approve the establishment of the provincial level program management office of the high-value agricultural commodities upliftment program in Surkhet and Karnali corridors in Jumla and Jajarkot districts under the Bheri corridor and the temporary organization structure and posts prepared for the financial year 2081/082 of the offices.
Spokesman Shah said that the same meeting also decided to give approval to submit the Bill 2081 with amendments received from the Administration and Bills Committee to the Provincial Assembly to make arrangements for the establishment and operation of the Karnali Pragya Pratishthan.
