Almost half a foot of hail has fallen in Tila rural municipality-9 of Jumla. Hail has damaged crops.

On Friday, there was continuous hail for an hour from 4 pm to 5 pm. Local Umesh Rawat said that the hail has damaged crops. 

According to him, all the barley that is ready to be brought in has been sown in the field. Similarly, the wheat crop planted in the field has been damaged. Crops such as beans, potatoes, corn, and beans have been destroyed. 

Apples, peaches, and walnuts have also been sprinkled on fruits. Umesh said, "It didn't snow this much in the winter of this year. The locals say that this is the first time that there has been so much hail.

The life of the people there was greatly affected due to the hailstorm along with the storm. Earlier, there was hail damage in Patarasi, Chandannath, Guthichour, Tatopani and Sinja areas of the district.
