12 thousand 658.60 square meters of land owned by Surkhet Valley City Development Committee was approved by the meeting of the Federal Council of Ministers held on 5th June to be used for the construction of administrative buildings of the provincial government.
On 26th November 2076, the Council of Ministers meeting decided to build an administrative center on a two and a half bigha land in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law located in Birendra Nagar-7, but the process of building construction did not proceed for 6 years due to the lack of land use rights of the provincial government. Within the structure envisioned by the state government, there will be eight ministries of the state.
