A total of 154 complaints have been registered with the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission from Dolpa. Out of the total complaints filed till the end of May last year, 72 complaints have been dismissed and 82 complaints are yet to be dismissed.
According to Dharmaraj Budha, information officer of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Surkhet office, "Akhtiyar has received many complaints of irregularities from the local level, followed by many complaints about plans from the Ministry of Urban Development." Out of a total of 58 complaints, 30 have been resolved, but 28 complaints have not yet been resolved.' Out of the total 28 complaints, 8 have been resolved, but 20 complaints are yet to be resolved.
26 complaints have been received from Mudkechula Rural Municipality in Lower Dolpa, 16 have been resolved, but 10 complaints have not yet been resolved.
From Jagdulla Rural Municipality, a neighboring municipality of Mudkechula, out of 20 complaints, 11 have been cleared, but 9 complaints are still pending.
Since 8 complaints have been registered in Aktiyar from Kaike rural municipality, not all complaints have been resolved.
According to Surkhet, the power abuse investigation commission has reached a total of 3 complaints from Dolpobuddha Rural Municipality in Upper Dolpa.
Out of a total of 7 complaints received from Charkatangsong Rural Municipality, 2 have been resolved, but 5 complaints have not yet been resolved. Similarly, out of a total of 4 complaints received from She-Foksundo rural municipality, 2 have been resolved, but 2 are still pending. In the current year, the plans introduced by the Ministry of Urban Development in Dolpa have started to be complained to the authority. Nine plans that have come to Tripura Sundari Municipality from the Ministry of Urban Development have been collectively approved by the authority.
Stakeholders say that most of the schemes are activist-oriented and personal, and complaints have been filed with the authority. Similarly, in the current year, four plans from the Ministry of Urban Development have been approved in Thuliberi Municipality.
