Token at Chandannath for the convenience of the general public

Chandannath Municipality of Jumla has started a token system to make government services agile, efficient and effective. The municipality has started providing service through token system from this month of Baisakh.

The customer is also happy saying that it is easy to get the service through the token system. There has been uniformity in service delivery since all city works, from planning agreement, taking payment, submitting proposal, have to take tokens.

Previously, without a token, customers had to wait in line for hours at the window door, it was difficult to get their turn due to noise and controversy, and those who had access had to wait a day and those who did not have access had to wait for weeks . But local Kali Bahadur Rokaya said that after the introduction of the token system, the gap between those who have access and those who do not have access has been bridged.

He said, 'Now, as soon as the token goes to the system, it is not necessary to go to every room and deliver the file.' The registered file is delivered to the place where the employee has to bring it.  He believes that it is convenient for both the customer and the service provider as they can wait comfortably with the token for the

turn. "Earlier, the work was prolonged due to the commotion and crowding of customers in the long queues." Now, it will be decided within an hour after submitting the file,' he said.

Chief Administrative Officer Tek Bahadur Budthapa said that due to the increasing number of customers, it is becoming difficult to get services, and activities such as overcrowding and commotion have been eliminated. He said, "Token employees are also regular". The customer is also not suffering .'
