Locals of Humla Namkha Rural Municipality-6 Tilgaon have been displaced for five days after landslides started to occur around the village. Some are taking shelter in schools and some are hanging tripals on the streets. Even now, they have not been able to return to the village as the rain is falling.
The locals have taken a stand not to return to the village as they are not sure how the landslide with Ledo came from and whether it will come again.
The chief district officer of Humla, Narayan Pandey, said that the citizens cannot be returned to the village until a detailed study of the landslide is done. He said, "According to the preliminary study, it has come to know that a landslide with ledo has reached Himtal, but it cannot be said until a team of miners and geologists come and study it." "It has been heard that miners and geologists have asked ESIMOD to study but the official news has not arrived," he said.
32 people have been kept in Tripal in the open square after the village is at risk. There are 21 women, 9 men and 2 children. There are 50 houses in the village and only 18 families are living there.

Ward President Paljor Lama has demanded immediate rescue of the landslide victims. He has asked the government to study the landslides and create a situation where people can live safely in the village.
