A laborer has died in Salyan after falling down while sloping the roof of a house. 45-year-old Rim Bahadur Basnet, a resident of Sharda-2 Bhagwati Khola, died when the roof of Jit Bahadur Bhandari's house was sloped in Sharda Municipality-1 Srinagar of the district.

According to Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office, Salyan, Basnet fell and was seriously injured in the process of sloping the roof of a three-storey house. His head was severely injured. He died on the way while bringing Salyan to the district hospital. 

After falling from the roof, everyone who was present immediately rescued Basnet and took her to District Hospital Salyan for treatment. After being taken to the hospital, the doctor declared that he was dead,'  He said.

Sub District Hospital Salyan Police Inspector Basnet said that after the post-mortem, relatives were handed over for cremation.
