Due to climate change, the farming system of Jumla is disturbed, farmers have started adopting alternative measures. Now she is interested in vegetable market and prices. Since pesticide-free organic vegetables are planted, the demand for his vegetables has already started. She says that for the first time, she could not send vegetables outside the district, but she tried to deliver them inside the district.

It has been a long time since Jayalakshmi Budha of the same village started cultivating vegetables. But from this year he did not proceed professionally. Earlier, she was growing vegetables to eat by herself, but this time she has prepared to deliver fresh vegetables to the market.

After the increase of the market along with the access of the road network, she has started growing vegetables based on the demand of that market. She thinks that she should not ask her husband to earn income from vegetables. She is thinking of saving money left over from teaching children and using it in case of emergency.

She said, "Vegetables are not only used as food for the family anymore, they are being produced as a major source of income by taking them to nearby markets." This time he is preparing to produce more and take it to Khalanga.

Local Ganga Budha has been busy since morning. She comes to the market early in the morning to sell coriander, greens and other vegetables. He has vegetable cultivation in almost one ropani field. She said, "Earlier we used to eat dry food without vegetables, now green vegetables have started ripening in 12 months." 28 women like her have grown vegetables in one hectare area. Although their farming is collective, they are taking the produce individually. Dhan Bahadur Rawat said, "The farmers of Tatopani 2 are excited about vegetable farming."

They are not only growing organic vegetables. They are also trying to control diseases by making biological pesticides. Everyone can easily see their vegetable farming as it is next to the Karnali highway. They have taken vegetable farming as the main source of income as it can help in the nutrition of children and also earn a lot of income.

The farmers of Chandannath 1 Talichour and Tatopani 2 of Jumla have started commercial vegetable farming. Especially women and Dalits are involved in vegetable farming. After getting training about green house, seed and vegetable cultivation, they are engaged in vegetable cultivation professionally.
