A truck hit a pedestrian in Surkhet. A woman was hit by a zebra crossing at Mulpani Chowk in Birendranagar market.

Police said that 73-year-old Tulsi Jaishi, who was living in Dailekh and living in Birendranagar, was seriously injured in the collision of the truck. He is being treated at Provincial Hospital Surkhet.

Chief Police Inspector Vakil Sunar of District Traffic Police Office Surkhetak informed that a truck bearing number 1 B 1936, which was going from Mulpani Chowk to Bangesimal, hit Jaishi.

The driver is absconding . The police said that they are looking for him.
