And we took the mother to the hospital," she said, "We brought her here (Kohalpur) after she was told that the mother would not be treated in the district hospital. She is being treated now. Suspecting that the incident was caused by the intention of taking her mother's life, Ramita adds, "We have lodged a complaint with the police as we suspect some people." And after investigating the truth of the incident, we have demanded action against the culprits.

Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office, Pramesh Bista, said that the victim had filed a complaint on Monday and an investigation is underway. "We are investigating the incident based on the information given by the victim and in our own way. "I am not in a position to say this right now," he said.
