Social activist Dhankrishna Pandey, who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident, died. He met with an accident on Sunday night while going to his home in Bhaurukuna from Khandachakra-3 Tadi Bus Park.
Police said that 40-year-old Pandey, who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident of Karnali Pradesh 02002 P 5876, died at 4 am on Monday at Paltada, Dailekh while being taken to Surkhet after he could not be treated at the Calikot District Hospital.
District Police Chief Tek Bahadur Rawat said that the motorcycle accident occurred while going uphill from the bus park through the campus road. He says that the motorcycle fell out of control in the middle of the night.
He fell 600 meters down the road with his motorcycle. Pandey, who suffered serious head injuries, was referred to Surkhet and died on the way.
He is also the chairman of Khandachakra 3 Toddy Market Management Committee and Paltamahadev Community Forest Consumer Committee.
