Integrated Socialist Kalikot has drawn the attention of the Nepal government with 17 points of demand. As part of the party's nationwide three-month struggle program, a letter of attention was submitted to the Prime Minister through the Chief District Officer of Calikot on Friday.
In the demand letter signed by the district chairman Chitrasingh villager, it is asked to fulfill the difficulties faced by the district residents. Rice and salt trading of the food institute should be provided at the city level, the compulsion to carry the dead body to the headquarters should be ended when the citizen dies in the rural areas, the situation of going out of the district for education and treatment should be ended at the local level with the environment of employment creation and the road section that is currently in operation should be operated even during the rainy season. It has also been demanded to remove the discomfort of passengers having to pay fares higher than those set by the state.
Similarly, the demand for ending the problem of government offices being without an office head for a long time, Kotbada airport operation, Fukot and Tila hydro work has started To be done, attention has been drawn to the timely construction of the Belly Bridge at Pantadi Pavkey Bridge and Bhainsigounda. In the demand letter, voice has been raised for the end of child marriage, polygamy as well as caste discrimination.
Accepting the demand, Chief District Officer Narayan Prasad Bhattarai thanked him for submitting the relevant demand and expressed his commitment to implement the demand that can be addressed at the district level and to immediately send the demand that cannot be met by the district to the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Home Affairs. He said that efforts are being made to improve the road and improve the quality of the rainy season and speed up the rest of the electrification work.
