The Bar Association has expressed serious objection to the sit-in and sloganeering outside the High Court Surkhet. Surkhet District Bar Association and High Court Bar Association Surkhet, issuing a statement on Wednesday, have strongly objected to actions such as demonstration, sloganeering and vandalism outside the court, saying that it interferes with the judicial process.

On June 10, 2077, in the case of mass murder of 6 people, including Navaraj Vika of Jajarkot, in Soti, Rukum West, after the High Court Surkhet overturned the decision of the district court on caste discrimination, the victims and Dalit rights workers staged a protest in the court premises. In opposition to that, Dalit rights activist Khagendra Sunar and the relatives of deceased Navaraj Vick sat in front of the court.

They have stated that the next movement will be centered in Kathmandu. The Supreme Court upheld the birth imprisonment of Rukum Paschim and dismissed the issue of caste discrimination. Advocate Durga Prasad Sapkota, President of the High Court Bar Association and Advocate Ram Bahadur Bhandari, President of the District Court Bar Association, said that the only way to get justice is through the judicial process, and activities like riots, bandh strike or gate vandalism cannot be accepted.  In the

statement, it is said, "The decision of the court is final in the judicial process, the decision of the court must be followed by all citizens, and in the event that the judicial decision is not satisfied, the appeal of the victim who can go to a higher body is still pending, ignoring it and expressing our regret for the unlimited, unwanted and chaotic actions of threatening judges and legal professionals."
