The primary health center in Bagchaur municipality-2 Tharmare of the district has started digital X-ray service.
After the ministry provided the machine, the digital x-ray service was started to end the compulsion of the residents to go to the district hospital and private hospital.
Locals have benefited after starting digital x-ray service. Locals who have been forced to go to private hospitals and polyclinics for general x-ray services will now be relieved.
Although the primary health center that was put into operation two decades ago had a normal type of X-ray machine, the services could not be operated due to the lack of technology, but the citizens were being affected, as requested by the Ministry of Health.
He informed that the residents of the city, who have been facing various difficulties in the past, will not have to go out for X-ray services in the future. He said that preparations are being made to operate a 10-bed basic hospital for the primary health center by arranging skilled manpower.
Himal Bhandari, in charge of the primary health center, said that the digital X-ray machine provided by the Ministry of Health will facilitate the treatment of patients who come for treatment. He informed that although the X-ray work of the patient is being done, as there is no radiographer, he has now been sent for training. According to him, after the advent of digital x-ray machines, the patients who came now do not have to be sent back.
He says that in the past, doctors came to the primary health center which was established two decades ago and stayed for a short time to study and then they did not come back, so they are facing shortage of doctors.
