The deceased have been identified as Andaji Parvati Gharti, 33, of Rolpa Sunchahari Rural Municipality-3 and Kiran Bhandari, 18, of Athabiskot Municipality-3, Rukum West.
According to Harikrishna KC, Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Dolpa, 'The police was informed about the incident only on Thursday morning.' The dead bodies were collected and taken to the district hospital, he said.
According to the police, both the deceased are laborers. He was currently working on the water supply project to connect Tipla village. Before this, Tipla was working on the hot water connection road. At that time, he used to live in Wadar, which is near the incident site. Endowments were also kept in the same den.
The police said that he died after falling from the crowd while returning with the same endowment goods. According to the police, the woman slipped first. Then, instead of trying to save him, the young man also slipped and fell down the hill. Both of them fell down about four meters and had injuries all over their bodies, the police said.
The police said that it took about two hours to collect the bodies of both the deceased.
