Five people were injured in a force vehicle accident in Salyan. Lu 2 B 6271 force vehicle, which was going from Rukum West towards Tulsipur in Dang, had an accident on Rapti Highway near Bagchaur Municipality-5, Dharpani around 10 am on Friday.
According to Police Inspector Resham Bahadur Khatri of District Police Office Salyan, the injured are 42-year-old Dammar Vick of Musikot Municipality-12 in Rukum West, 22-year-old Hark Bahadur Vick of Chaurjahari Municipality-14, 30-year-old Lokendra KC, 20-year-old Hitesi Khadka of Triveni Rural Municipality-8 and 7-year-old Kapil Khadka.
Police Inspector Khatri informed that all the injured in the accident were immediately rescued by locals, transporters and the police and brought to Sahaja Polyclinic, Bagchaur for treatment and all are being treated there. According to him, the force vehicle went out of control and met with an accident on the road. There were 13 people in the car.
35-year-old Indra Oli of Baghaur municipality-4, the driver of the vehicle, is absconding and is being searched for. According to Khatri, further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
