Madhav Kumar Nepal, president of United Samajwadi Party, has challenged former king Gyanendra Shah to open a party and compete with other parties if he wants to become the prime minister.
While inaugurating the 10th district convention of the party in Raskot, Calikot, Nepal mentioned that some people are saying that the king should come and save the country. 'Being the king's prime minister If you want, open a party and contest elections. Dynasty rule is not possible,' he said.
He said that the people have seen the real form of monarchy from the looting, theft and arson committed by royalists in Tinkune of Kathmandu on 15th Chaitra. "The future path is advanced democracy and socialist republic," he said.
Expressing his happiness that the people's representatives are active for the development and prosperity of Raskot, he said that the area administration office is necessary for the convenience of the people. He also said that the government should emphasize on production and increase employment to overcome the disappointment of the people.
