A health camp organized in a remote village is crowded with patients. 5 thousand 222 patients were treated in the comprehensive health camp organized at the Narharinath Basic Hospital here in three days, the head of the hospital Dr. Shivnath Yadav informed.

"We didn't think that there are so many sick people," he said, "There are many people who are hiding their illnesses." He said that the 3-day specialist health camp, which started from Sunday, was extended due to the influx of patients, and the medical team was bid farewell only on Wednesday morning. 

After coordination with One/One Step Foundation, Municipality President Nagendra Bahadur Bista said that for the first time, 32 expert teams were able to provide health services to the citizens of the difficult settlements of Narharinath Rural Municipality. "I also thought that the camp would be so effective," he said.

He promised that the rural municipality will allocate the budget to provide similar specialist health services for the residents of Narharinath in the future.

According to the information received from Yogi Narharinath Basic Hospital, the expert team that came with the latest equipment provided 15 types of services. In the camp, 799 people were examined and 101 people underwent surgery. 66-year-old Mana Vishwakarma of Narharinath-6 Malkot, who has been blind for 6 years, said that she felt that the government had really reached the village and was happy that Jyoti had returned.

According to Manoj Bogti, Head of Health Branch of Narharinath Rural Municipality, 1,04 people received general medicine services in the camp, 654 people received orthopedic services, 524 people received services for nose, ear, throat diseases and 23 people underwent ear surgery. 

Similarly, in the camp, 239 people were treated for donor diseases, 252 people were treated for general opacities, 329 people were treated for skin diseases, and 227 children and 367 women received gynecological services. 

Similarly, video x-rays of 247 people, plain x-rays of 81 people. Laboratory tests of 343 people, ECG of 3 people, endoscopy of 17 people have been done. 

Eye examination of 347 people in Mahabai

453 eyes of 453 people have been examined in an eye camp conducted in Mahabai Rural Municipality here. With the support of Eye Care Foundation Kathmandu and Himalaya Eye Hospital Pokhara and with the support of Eye Treatment Center Manm under Nepal Netrajyoti Sangh Kalikot, an eye camp was conducted for the first time at Basic Hospital Oda in Mahabai, informed the Chairman Khem Bahadur Singh. According to him, 67 people have undergone surgery in the camp.
