Electricity and telephone services have been disrupted in Karnali. The electricity service was interrupted due to the downed trees due to the wind and rain that came on Wednesday night.
Kohalpur-Surkhet 33 KV line and Kuine Babiachaur-Birendranagar 33 KV line in the west have been blocked, according to Electricity Authority Surkhet Distribution Office.
The 33 KV transmission line has been operational only up to Ramghat in Surkhet. The office said that a team of technicians has been deployed to repair the rest of the line.
