Chhinchu-Jajarkot road section has been blocked since 12 pm last night due to landslides after rain on Wednesday night. Due to the rains, the road was blocked since last night due to a landslide in Gangte near Dharapani in Bangad Kupinde Municipality-11 of Salyan.
After the road was blocked, all the vehicles plying on the Chhinchu Jajarkot road section have stopped on the road and the passengers have also been affected. Some nearby passengers have been forced to walk around.
Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office Salyan, said that a dozer of Bangad Kupinde municipality was sent in the morning to clear the road landslide. He informed that now the dozers are removing the landslide and it will take some time for the road to open. He said that there has been no electricity since night in Bangad Kupinde municipality area due to rain and wind and the pole fell.
