A temporary tourist police post has been established at Talcha in Mugu for the safety of tourists coming to Rara Lake, which is established as a major tourist destination in Karnali.
A tourist police station has been established for the security of internal and external tourists who come to see Rara Lake.
A checkpoint has been established with 5 policemen under the command of Assistant Police Inspector Sanjukumar Vishwakarma. A tourist police post has been established on the road to Rara near Talcha Airport, so the safety of tourists will be ensured.
The tourist police station was inaugurated by Chayanath Rara Municipality chief Bishnu Kumar Bham. He said that there is a security challenge as the number of tourists visiting Muguma Rara and other religious and natural tourist areas is increasing day by day.

"Muguma is not only Rara Lake, but there are religious places, mountains and caves in this area," said Mayor Bham.
