A bell weighing 290 kg is placed in the temple of Naumude deity in Siran of Ghodasin village, Patarasi rural municipality-6 of Jumla.

For the first time, such a big bell has been placed in the temple of Naumude deity . Ghant was made to circumambulate the famous Chandannath-Bhairavanath temple in Jumla headquarters Khalanga.

Ain Bahadur Kathayat, a local, said that the bell was brought to the temple by taking out a great bell procession in the presence of local devotees. According to him, a bell worth 6 lakh 11 thousand rupees has been kept in the temple.

The bell was made using Panchadhatu in Patan, Lalitpur. In the temple, local people stayed awake all night and performed prayers and established the bell. Locals claim that this bell is big and placed for the first time in Jumla.

There is a popular belief that one's wishes will be fulfilled if one reaches the Naumude temple and offers prayers. A fair is held here on Chaite Dasain and Vadadasain.

This temple was earlier called Kot . After the fall of Baise Choubise kingdom, the local people named it as Naumude Temple . It is customary to sacrifice hundreds of animals in this temple.

The Pandits of Chandannath Municipality 3 Simkhadagaon are reciting prayers.
