A passenger has died after falling from the door of a force vehicle in Salyan. 27-year-old Ganesh Budha, resident of Simta Rural Municipality-5, Surkhet, died on Thursday around 6:30 pm when he fell from the door of the force vehicle of Karnali Pradesh 02001 B 0790, which was going to Gojibazar in Surkhet from Nepalganj.
According to Police Inspector Resam Bahadur Khatri of District Police Office Salyan, the old man fell while hanging on the car door. His head, ear, forehead and other parts of his body were injured. The seriously injured old man was immediately rescued and died while being taken to Mehalkuna Hospital.
After the passenger in the vehicle fell from the door and died, the driver Jivaraj Giri, 43 years old of Simta-5, and the vehicle were taken into custody by the police and kept at the temple of EPR, said Prani Khatri. He said that the body has been kept at the hospital for post-mortem.
