Vikek Khadka of the New Union has won the elections of the Independent Students' Union (SUVU) at the Midwest University (MU). Khadka got 1187 votes. His closest competitor, Jagatjang Shahi of Anerasviu, got 970 votes.

2864 votes were cast in Monday's voting. 2 thousand 862 votes fell on the proportional side.

Midwest University had a total of 4,383 voters.
