A woman has died after being hit by a truck in Sarkegad Rural Municipality-4 of Humla under the Karnali Corridor. On Monday afternoon, a 72-year-old woman died when a truck number VE1K 3764 coming from Humla Sardamukam Simkot to Surkhet hit her.

Pankala Thapa, 72 years old of Dulli village, Sarkegad rural municipality-4, informed that the assistant constable of Sarkegad police station, Dan Bahadur Bista, has died.

After the incident, the locals have blocked the corridor.
