Two of the injured in the jeep accident in Salyan at around 10 am on Sunday have been referred. 10-year-old Anupam Budhathoki of Sharda Municipality-11 and 50-year-old Parvir Rawat of Kumakh Rural Municipality-3 have been referred.
Police Inspector Resham Bahadur Khatri of District Police Office Salyan said that the two who suffered the most injuries were taken to Nepalgunj for further treatment from Sharda Polyclinic in Sharda Municipality-1 Srinagar of the district. According to him, Budhathoki's head, legs and back were injured, while Rawat's leg was broken and other parts of his body were injured.
Passenger jeep No. 1 J 1214 coming to Srinagar from Timile in Kumakh had an accident on the road near Siddhakumakh Rural Municipality-3 Falate. Among the 18 passengers, 17 except the driver were injured. When the brakes failed and hit the wall, the jeep overturned on the road . Other injured are being treated at Sarada Polyclinic.
