Nanda Debi Multipurpose Campus Kotwada election has been postponed.
Electoral Officer Kamal Prasad Sapkota announced the announcement at 10 o'clock last night stating that an uncomfortable atmosphere has been created in the campus.
The notification states that the election has been postponed until further notice due to the uncomfortable atmosphere in the campus.
Akhil Revolutionary and Samajwadi Akhil locked down the campus on the afternoon of the 4th, stating that the alliance of the NBI Sangh and ANERASWVIU had taken the voter cards of 200 students outright.
This is the reaction of Congress Narharinath President Ram Bahadur Batala who locked the campus after the merger of two big student organizations.
Manshova Budha, Chairman of Maoist Center Narharinath, said that one person took the voter cards of 200 people who should be understood by the students concerned to rig the student elections by misusing their power.
According to him, in the campus where there are 425 voters, 200 Navy Sangh and 150 cards were seized by Aneraswaviyu, and Akhil revolutionaries were forced to lock it. Swaviyu president candidate Yashoda Shahi said that the lock will be opened only after the voter card is returned to the campus.
Elections will start from 9 o'clock at the Sanni Triveni Janachetana Campus here.
