28-year-old Sutkeri of Athabis Municipality Ward 8 was rescued by helicopter after bleeding profusely. 28-year-old Mansara Vick was rescued by a helicopter on Wednesday and taken to Karnali Pradesh Hospital Surkhet Hospital after continuous bleeding after giving birth.
Mansara gave birth to a child at 9 am on Wednesday. Garpali Health Branch Chief Devraj Timilsena said that Mansara was immediately referred to Provincial Hospital Surkhet due to excessive bleeding. She was rescued under the President's Women Upliftment Program in coordination with the District Administration Office Dailekh.
