An earthquake reconstruction office has been established at Rimna in Jajarkot. Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has inaugurated the Earthquake Reconstruction Office established in Bheri Municipality-1 Rimna of Jajarkot on Sunday.
The District Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project Implementation Unit has been established to accelerate the reconstruction and repair of private residences of earthquake victims in Jajarkot, Rukum West and Salyan.
"The reconstruction campaign for the damage caused by the earthquake has started," said the Home Minister, "After arranging the necessary standards and regulations for the reconstruction and the necessary budget, an office has been established in the district to speed up the reconstruction work."
The minister said that the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority is going to proceed with the reconstruction work by establishing an office.
Finance Minister of Karnali Province Rajeev Vikram Shah said that the government is speeding up the reconstruction of the houses that were completely damaged by the earthquake.
