Yeti Air has conducted a test flight in Surkhet. Private airline Yeti has completed a test flight in Surkhet on Saturday. Yeti Airlines said that the flight was also completed in Dhangadhi on Saturday.
Yeti's 9 N-AMN ATR 72 aircraft successfully conducted a test flight, said Sudarshan Bertaula, spokesperson of the airline.
The test flight was flown by the airline's instructor pilots Captain Samartharatna Tuladhar and Raju Rajvanshi. A team of technical representatives of Nepal Civil Aviation Authority and Yeti Airlines were also there to observe the flight.
Spokesperson Bertaula said that a test flight was conducted at Surkhet and Dhangadhi airports in the near future with the aim of regular flights and using them as alternative aircraft. He said that they are preparing to fly regularly based on the test flight report.
Accountable Manager and Chief Business Officer of Yeti Airlines, Yuvrajkumar Bisht said that the aim is to expand the market by increasing the range of flights keeping in mind the demand of passengers. He opined that with the regular flights at the airports, the confidence of passengers towards these airlines will increase.
On February 20th, the airline has successfully completed a test flight at Rajviraj Airport. Buddha and Shrierlines have been flying in Surkhet.
