Midwest University is holding its third convocation ceremony on Friday in the 12 years since the academic program started. The third convocation ceremony is going to be held almost 3 years after the second convocation in the presence of Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University KP Sharma Oli. In which 3 thousand 841 students from the year 2079 are being initiated.

There are 7 central departments, 10 special programs and 1 special program under the university. About 12 thousand students are studying under the university. The university has been teaching undergraduates in 9 subjects and postgraduates in 13 subjects.

But when the university does not manage the program, the convocation ceremony is held for a long time. The former dean of the university Pitambar Dhakal said that since the convocation ceremony is a regular program of the school, it will increase the dignity of the university every year. "The administration and reputation of the university is also connected with the convocation," he said, "Every year the best students should be awarded and a certificate should be given, but it is not fair to give the certificate after 4/5 years." He said that a timely convocation would send a good message.

Meen Bahadur Pun, an educationist, says that there is also a problem in the moral development of students due to not getting the convocation certificate on time. "Students are very excited when the convocation is held the same year they pass. Since getting an academic degree is linked to a person's success, students are enthusiastic about singing and wearing hats when they are fresh," he said.

confirms this, the number of students who filled the forms for the third convocation also. According to the university, 3 thousand 841 people will participate this year. But only 885 people have filled the form. University registrar Prof. Dr. who has gone abroad, is working in different places within the country and some of them may not have filled the form even without receiving the notification. Shobha Khar Kandel said. 

The second convocation of the university was held on May 6, 2079 under the chairmanship of the then Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Education Devendra Paudel, while Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi from India participated as the keynote speaker. Similarly, Prada Sanjay Deshmukh, Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University was invited to the first convocation in 2074 under the chairmanship of then Chancellor and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

This year Sikkim University India's founding vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Dean of the University Liladhar Tiwari said that Mahendra P. La will be present as the keynote speaker. "Inviting a world-renowned person to the convocation ceremony is helping to establish international relations," he said, "what they say also has a lot of meaning."
