The Nagm-Gamgarhi road section has come to a standstill due to the snowfall along with the rain that has been falling for two days. Due to landslides near Bhulbhule in Jumla section and thick snow in Satmode, it is becoming difficult for vehicles to move around. Internal and external tourists coming to visit Raratal have been halted after the road was blocked by snow.

People's life has been greatly affected due to the stoppage of vehicular traffic. Assistant Chief District Officer of Mugu Vivakar Mishra said that dozers are being used on the roads to remove snow. According to him, until Friday, four vehicles were stranded in the middle. He said that a dozer was used to bring the stopped vehicles into operation immediately.

According to him, a dozer has been used from Jumla to remove the snow. Vehicles are stopped due to heavy snow. It is becoming difficult for people to move around.

Tourists going to Rara Lake, which is considered to be the main tourist destination of Karnali, have stopped in the middle. They are demanding that the road should be opened immediately to play in the snow.

Head of Road Division Office Jumla, Dipendra Chaudhary said that technical manpower has been mobilized along with dozers to remove the landslide. According to him, it seems that it will take time if the weather does not improve. But,  If the weather improves, the road will be open till Sunday morning. 

'We are getting very serious about opening the road . However, if the rain and snow continue, it is not possible to open for a few days,' Chief Choudhary said, 'We are trying to fulfill the desire of tourists to play in the snow and the desire of the locals.'

He asked to travel only after understanding the snow situation . Although there is snow in the Lekali area of ​​Jumla, there has been a lot of rain in the Bensi area. Due to the snowfall, flights have also been stopped in Jumla and Upper Karnali.
