Foundation laying of the Jugadkhola Corridor to be built at a cost of 20 crores

Jugadkhola Corridor construction work has started to make the Jugadkhola flowing between Jumla headquarters Khalanga clean, tidy and clean. According to the municipality, the corridor will make Jugadkhola, which is becoming dirty and contaminated recently, attractive.

The foundation stone of the corridor was laid by Ramdevi Khadka, Deputy Chief of Chandannath Municipality. Deputy Chief Khadka believes that the corridor will play a big role in promoting tourism in the municipality. She said, 'Jugadkhola Corridor itself is sure to become a tourist destination. In addition, the view of Kanchan Jugadkhola will entice the heart.'' A dozer has been installed near the office of drinking water consumer committee located in Chandannath-5.  According to the

corridor multi-year plan, 6 crore rupees have been allocated for the first time. City chief Rajusinh Kathayat informed that three kilometers of corridor will be constructed in the current financial year. From the office of the Water Consumer Committee to Chandannath-4 Malavid, a two meter wide corridor will be constructed within this financial year. 

The municipality has already sent a letter to remove the physical structures built in public places within the corridor. It has been requested to immediately demolish the house terrace built on public land,' said Chief Kathayat, 'If it is not done, it will be forced to use dozers to demolish it.' Corridor will make Jugadkhola clean and green. He said, 'According to that, the municipality has also given special priority and started the work.' Infrastructure construction has started by making it possible for everyone to take a morning walk in the corridor.
