One person has been arrested for cutting Salla and Sal trees without permission. He was arrested by Division Forest Office Salyan for randomly cutting trees for the extension of electricity lines.

The arrested person is 43-year-old Chet Bahadur Budhathoki of Darma rural municipality-4 of the district. Budhathoki cut down 33 sal trees and 9 sal trees in different places of the national forest in Lamadanda of Darma-4 for the extension of electricity lines. 

Budhathoki was arrested with the help of the police after he was found to be cutting trees in the national forest area without permission.

He informed that Budhathoki, who was arrested, is being investigated by police custody and preparations are being made to bring the recovered Sal and Salla Golia wood sub-division forest office to Tharmare.
