Karnali State Government has decided to amend the State Civil Service Act. Spokesman of the state government and Minister of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives Vinod Shah informed that the cabinet meeting of the Karnali government held on Wednesday decided to amend the State Civil Service Act 2080.

 According to him, the amended bill will be sent to the State Public Service Commission for submission and consultation. The government implemented the Karnali Pradesh Civil Service Act on 29 October 2080. 

In a similar meeting, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law approved the rent of the army helicopters used by the government in disaster, rescue and relief work at various times. 

The same meeting has also decided to give responsibility to senior crop development officer Parashuram Rawat as the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives. Spokesperson Shah said that a decision was also taken to approve the submission of Bill 2081 in the Provincial Assembly to make arrangements for Karnali Province seed sowing.
