Due to dry landslide, the road section of Humla under Karnali Corridor has been blocked again. The road was blocked due to a dry landslide at 8 o'clock on Sunday morning in Khachcha, which is prone to frequent landslides.
As the road was blocked, the police said that all the means of transport including passengers and cargo vehicles going to the headquarter of Humla and coming to Sarkegad were stopped on the road. Citizens were forced to travel by walking after the means of transportation stopped. Police Constable Raj Bahadur Bista of Police Post Balkuna informed.
'The road has been blocked since morning,' he said, 'JCB has come and the work is being done to clear the landslide.'
Sarkegad Rural Municipality Ward No. 1 Khachcha, a dry landslide has come from above and about 20 meters of road has been completely covered. JCB is trying to open the road with the initiative of the team of the temporary police post at Balukuna in Tumcha and the road division office.
When the road was blocked, 3 mini buses, 5 mini trucks, 3 buses and one mini truck and one bus going from Humla's circ guard to Surkhet were stopped on the road.
