The dead body of a person who fell into the Bheri river while tying the suspension bridge was found. The body of 24-year-old Anil Gharti was found by the armed police diving team on Thursday afternoon. According to the District Police Office Surkhet, the diving team of Armed Police Force No. 6 Maheshwari Bahini Surkhet found his body.
The body was found stuck in the river about 40 feet deep. 18-year-old Arjun Jhankrimar, who went missing after falling into the Bheri along with him, is being searched for, said DSP Birendraveer Bishwakarma, spokesperson of District Police Office Surkhet. Both of them are from Sisne Rural Municipality-2 of Rukumpur.
A team including Armed Police Inspector Ram Khatri, working in No. 6 Maheshwari Bahini, is at the scene to search for the two missing people in Bheri river. They fell into the river on Wednesday after being hit by a stick during the construction of the suspension bridge under construction connecting Barahtal Rural Municipality-4 Kuta and Panchapuri Municipality-10 Chamri.
