2 persons fell into the Bheri river and went missing while repairing the suspension bridge in Surkhet. District Police Office Surkhet informed that 2 laborers fell into the river while repairing the suspension bridge connecting Kuta of Barahtal Rural Municipality-4 and Chamri of Panchapuri Municipality-10 of the district.
DSP Birendraveer Bishwakarma, spokesperson of District Police Office Surkhet, said that Anil Gharti, 24, of Sisne Rural Municipality-2, Rukum East, and Arjun Jhakri Magar, 18, of the same place, are missing.
They fell while tying sticks for the bridge and went missing, he said. According to him, a team of police inspectors from Babiachaur and a team of armed police from Birendranagar are going to the spot to search for them.
