Agricultural technicians from nine districts have reached Jumla to receive training in apple orchard management. They went to Jumla and received training on high density apple orchard management and quality.

Four in Gutichour, one in Tatopani and one in Horticulture Research Center Rajikot, where high density apples are planted, have also reached the orchards and conducted practical exercises. 

Apple Superzone office head Khemraj Shahi responded that for the first time agricultural technicians from so many districts came to Jumla and churned about apples. According to him, 35 agricultural technicians from Kalikot, Dolpa, Mugu, Darchula, Bajura, Acham, Humla, Surkhet and Jumla have received training. Agricultural officers, assistants and local level agricultural officers participated in the training.  

'We got a lot of practical and new technology knowledge in the training,' said Govinda Bahadur Malla, the agricultural officer of Dolpa.  

High-density apple tree pruning, maintenance, as well as theoretical and practical knowledge on garden size, planting, quality management, etc. were provided.
