The patients are worried because the dialysis machine installed at the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Jumla, is not operational. They are forced to go to hospitals in Surkhet, Nepalganj, Kathmandu for dialysis.

Most of the kidney sufferers go back to the hospital. They have demanded to provide services by bringing the dialysis machine into operation immediately . But patients who need to undergo dialysis have to go to Surkhet, Nepalgunj,' said local Krishna Prasad Gautam, 'so that the patients can be seen to be in operation soon.' , 'When the dialysis machine was inaugurated, kidney sufferers were happy . Let's start the service now and see more happiness than that.'

According to the doctors of the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, 20 to 25 patients who need dialysis go outside the district every year. Karnali Institute of Health Sciences has said that the dialysis service will start immediately. Director Dr. Dr. Dialysis service was stopped because the water produced by the old saw machine was not of good quality. Pujan Rokaya informed .
Director Rokaya said, "The old machine could not produce satisfactory water". The dialysis service has been stopped after 3/4 times of testing did not work well. The foundation said that the dialysis machine will arrive in Jumla within a week.
Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital Jumla has patients coming from districts including Calikot, Mugu, Humla and Dolpa for treatment.
