A unanimous committee was elected again under the leadership of Birendra Acharya from the third district convention of Press Center Nepal Kalikot, an organization of journalists close to the Maoist center.
Purnasinh Bam and Sursanath Yogi were elected as vice presidents, Kamal Bahadur Budha as secretary, Dinesh Farsal and Dhan Bahadur Sarki as joint secretaries, and Kamal Kumal as treasurer from the third district convention held under the chief hospitality of Central Deputy General Secretary Dipendra Sharma.
Similarly, Keshav Shahi and Sajipta Bam were elected as senior members along with Dilip Choulagai, Kalpana Choulagai, Sushmita Bick, Satya Rokaya, Ainraj Karki, Tilak Bishta and others. 4 central representatives including Prerna Vick, Santosh Bhandari, Tikaraj Upadhyay, Dumbar Shahi, Prakash Vick Pradesh and Rupendra Aidy were elected. Tularam Pandey, Central Member of Federation of Nepalese Journalists, Kali Bahadur Malla, Karnali Incharge of Press Chautari, Namraj Yogi, President of Press Union, etc. gave their best wishes at the opening session of the
convention.
