Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has said that there are not many challenges in terms of peace and security in Karnali. Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday after the conclusion of the Karnali state-level security conference, he said that criminal activities are continuing in Karnali.

He said that there are traditional crimes in Karnali. According to him, there has been an increase in suicides, drugs and vehicle accidents in Karnali. He said that since these three things are a challenge for Karnali, it was discussed in the security meeting to control them. He said that the heads of all the security agencies of the province have been instructed to work on the challenge.
