Maha Yagya has started in Birendra Nagar of Surkhet, the capital of Karnali Province. Mahayagya has been started from Friday to build a building for street dependent people.

According to the organizers, Maha Yagya was conducted for the construction of the building of Manavseva Ashram in Surkhet. Maha Yagya will continue till November 28th. 

Mahayagya is going to be conducted to raise financial resources for building construction for destitute, helpless, parentless street dependent people. Abhishta, who aims to raise financial support for the construction of the Karnali state-level building of the Manaseva Ashram and to help in the promotion of humanity, Dr. Navraj KC said . 

The Karnali state government has allocated 1 crore budget for the construction of the building of Manavseva Ashram. 

The construction of the building will be started according to the master plan on the land provided by Deuti Bajai Religious Community Forest located in Birendra Nagar Municipality-11 from the money collected from the Maha Yagya. Manavseva Ashram launched humanitarian services in Surkhet on 18th January 2075 with the aim of building a cooperative road-based human-free Karnali province. 

The ashram, which started its service by renting a house in Birendranagar municipality-12, has so far rescued more than 415 destitute, helpless, and street dependent people from all 10 districts of Karnali province. At Manavseva Ashram Surkhet Sevakendra, there are currently 80 people of different age groups and different natures who need help and are under human protection.
