Four people were injured in a jeep accident in Salyan. Four people were injured when a Bolero jeep numbered Karnali Province 02001 Ch 0651 coming from Bame in Bangad Kupinde Municipality of the district to Sallibazar near Kalika Mandir on Bangad Kupinde-1 Nathekhola Jamune road section around 12 noon on Saturday.
According to District Police Office Salyan, the injured are Krishna Budhathoki of Bangad Kupinde-3, Parvati Rana, Naini Bik, Balika Kamala Bik and 37-year-old Hira Basnet of Chaurjahari Municipality-7 in Rukum West.
Police Inspector Baburam Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office Salyan, said that all the injured were taken to Nepalgunj after general treatment at City Hospital in Sallibazar. The initial assumption of the police is that the brake failed on the downhill road and the car crashed. He informed that the jeep fell about 25 meters from the road.
