Rapti Highway has been closed for five hours daily since Monday for road maintenance and construction. When regular vehicles started to operate, the Dang-Salyan road section from Kapurkot to Ramri was affected, and the district administration office Dang has published a notice and closed it for five hours from Monday.
Rapti highway was closed from 11 am to 4 pm and passengers traveling in big vehicles were affected. As there is no alternative route, passengers are stuck on the road all day. Due to road closure, Dang, Salyan, Rukum and Rolpabasi have been affected.
District Administration Office Dang Assistant Chief District Officer Savitra Pun said that information has been published in Rohbar of Road Division Office Ghorahi Dang.
Even though vehicles are closed on the Ramri Kapurkot road section of the Rapti highway, she has requested ambulances and small four-wheeled vehicles carrying patients to go through Kapurkot-Kimuchour-Satalwas-Paiyakhola.
