66.41 percent votes have fallen in Sarkegad Rural Municipality of Humla. Voting for the post of vice president of the municipality was held on Sunday. The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer reported that 4,524 votes were cast in the municipality with 6,810 voters.
Chief Election Officer Shambhu Prasad Baral informed that 2,329 men and 2,195 women voted. According to him, voting took place from 12 polling stations and 13 polling centers in Sarkegad.
He said that the voting was peaceful and dignified. Baral said that if the ballot boxes reach quickly, they are ready to count the votes from 9 pm.
Savita Budha from Nepali Congress, Jana Shahi from CPN-UML, Devki Timilsena, common candidate from CPN-Maoist, United Socialist Party and CPN, Sangeeta Shahi from Rashtriya Prajatantra Party and Barsha Budha from Rashtriya Swatantra Party have entered the election field.
