Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Yamlal Kandel, has said that people's trust can be gained if quality health services are provided.

He said that due to the lack of quality and reliable healthcare services, citizens have become frustrated, and said that quality healthcare services should be provided by making maximum use of the available resources.

He suggested that Kalikot District Hospital should be developed as a hospital that provides reliable services rather than as a referral hospital. 'Buildings, staff and equipment alone do not provide quality healthcare,' Chief Minister Kandel said while inaugurating the newly constructed building of Kalikot District Hospital on Monday, 'People's trust can be gained with positive consultation, quality, reliable and trustworthy services of healthcare workers.'

He emphasized that the health workers should be committed to providing the best possible service with the resources and resources available in the hospital. As Kalikot is the main district in the list of road accident prone districts, Chief Minister Kandel expressed the commitment of the provincial government to provide the necessary support to the district hospital with resources, and stressed that the situation of health workers who have gone for training and seminars disappearing for months and the people do not get services should end.

Kalikot Hospital, which was established as a health center in 045, got approval for 15 beds in 061 and got approval for 50 beds in 071.  However, the hospital has reported that there is a lack of budget for the operation of the hospital as the service facility is only available for 30 beds.
