Chief Minister of Karnali Province Yamlal Kandel has said that Kankrevihar should be developed as an open natural zoo. Inaugurating the 'Karnali Big Tree Planting Festival' organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Surkhet on Saturday, Chief Minister Kandel stressed that the Kankrevihar forest, which has archeological and historical importance, should be prepared to maintain friendly relations with wild animals other than violent ones.
'Infrastructure development is being built, if solar can be arranged on tree-guards and trees connected to the road, its beauty will increase even more. There is a need to think about this too", he said.
Chief Minister Kandel emphasized that trees should be conserved and put to good use as it is not enough to plant trees. Chief Minister Kandel said that the activities of Kankrevihar as well as forest feasting in Bubblele should be organized from the coming days.
