The Social Security Fund and the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health Hospital have signed an agreement to provide health care services to the children of the fund's contributors. The agreement was signed by Executive Director Prem Prasad Acharya on behalf of the fund and Chairman Dr. Bhagwan Koirala on behalf of the hospital.

After the agreement, Executive Director Acharya of the fund said that the children of the contributors affiliated with the fund will receive quality and financially accessible health care services.

Hospital Chairman Dr. Koirala said that they are working for human welfare by establishing health care as an accessible and quality service, and the agreement with the fund will further support that campaign.

The fund currently has 2.94 million contributors affiliated with the fund. The fund, which initially provided medical treatment facilities only to contributors, has expanded its services in recent years to include contributors, couples, and children.

According to the fund, so far, 20.24 billion rupees have been paid to hospitals and service recipients under various facilities.
